Davies Daniel was formed in 1978 by David Gwyn Davies, a building surveyor, and an entrepreneur, Julian Daniel. Specialising in project management and the supply of building materials in the Middle East, contracts were carried out in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Kuwait, Bolivia, Sudan, Brunei, Libya and the United Kingdom.

During the political transition period in the Eastern Bloc, Julian Daniel started a new company importing materials into the region from the Far East whilst David Gwyn Davies, with a Lebanese business partner, continued working in the Middle East and Far East and opened an office in Kuwait from which he personally project managed all sites as before, ensuring work standards and compliance.

The original company, Davies Daniel International, was later bought out by the Lebanese partner. David Gwyn Davies returned to the UK to study for a degree, followed by postgraduate study and entry to the RICS and the Institute of Export.

Davies Daniel was reformed in the UK in 2014 by Giorgi Salaghishvili to provide high quality restoration, refurbishment, maintenance and property management services throughout London. The same ethos and dedication to personal management of projects continues and provides the basis for strong ties with our clients, where projects are efficiently run and completed to the highest standards within budget and timescale.

Meet our directors

Giorgi Salaghishvili

Managing Director and CEO

Born in Minsk but raised in Georgia, Giorgi moved to London in 2002 to play football professionally after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Following injuries that forced an early retirement, he turned his hand to property, joining Urang in 2007 where he worked to hone his expertise for ten years before committing to Davies Daniel full time in 2014.

Giorgi’s sharp eye and problem solving skills allowed him to manage small to large scale projects, with an extensive portfolio of developments to his name. His additional role as partial head of property management at Urang allowed him to gain crucial insight into the property market in London. Subsequently, this sparked an interest in listed buildings and ignited a passion for the management, refurbishment and restoration of such properties.

As an associated of the Institute of Residential Property Management and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, Giorgi is committed to the advancement of his craft and these qualifications coupled with his sixteen years of experience both here and overseas give him a competitive advantage. He takes great pride in his work and his tireless work ethic, measured approach and excellent communication is reflected by his team, providing his clients with the best possible experience. His professional, efficient and direct style is a welcome change and greatly appreciated by his loyal clients. Giorgi’s strong ambitions for the company and reputation for being best in class will enable the company to grow their client base. Please do get in touch with Giorgi who would welcome the opportunity to discuss your property requirements.

Charlie Noel-Buxton

Advisor

Having lived in London since he was born, Charlie has been developing property since buying his first flat in Chelsea aged 19 whilst working in the City.

After changing careers in 2000 to focus on property, he joined a leading international property consulting firm. During his 13 years there, Charlie acted on the sale of thousands of properties ranging from studio flats to houses worth tens of millions. He advised individual, commercial and institutional clients on asset management, leasehold reform, valuations, alterations, planning and design. Frustrated with the direction his partners were taking, he left to focus entirely on his property development business.

Charlie was greatly impressed by the ethos, service and work undertaken by Davies Daniel and is delighted to be able to bring his expertise and experience to the team.
